What This Site Is
ExcavationTrenchingShoring.com is a dedicated resource for excavation, trenching, and shoring safety training, built to help construction crews, utility workers, equipment operators, supervisors, and designated Competent Persons find the right course, understand OSHA's excavation standard, and get a certificate of completion they can use for their compliance records.
Who Delivers the Training
Training courses on this site are provided through HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC, which delivers OSHA, EPA, DOT, hazardous materials, construction safety, and workplace compliance training across online, SCORM, virtual instructor-led, and in-person formats. HAZWOPER OSHA Training is an IACET Accredited Provider and a BBB A+ rated business. Why This Site Exists
Excavation and trenching are among the most fatal hazards in construction, and the two roles on a job site - the crew working around a trench and the Competent Person responsible for it - need very different depths of training. This site exists to make that distinction clear, point each role to the right course, and be transparent about what OSHA does and doesn't require, certify, or approve. Training Formats Available
Both courses are self-paced, on-demand, and available online in English and Spanish through this site. SCORM packages for company learning management systems, Virtual Instructor-Led sessions, and In-Person Group training are available through HAZWOPER OSHA Training for teams that need those formats - see the course pages for direct links.
