FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Locate utilities through 811 and private locators, evaluate soil, water and atmosphere, select and obtain the protective system and its tabulated data, plan access, spoil, equipment and traffic, obtain permits, plan emergency response, designate the competent person and brief the crew.

It depends on your state. Two to three full working days before excavation is common, but each state's one-call law sets its own notice period and ticket life.
