Certificate Policy
How certificates of completion are issued, what they mean, and how long they're valid.
Issuance
A certificate of completion is issued immediately after a student passes the required knowledge assessment for a course. Certificates include the student's name, course name, training hours, completion date, a unique certificate ID, and the issuing provider, HAZWOPER OSHA Training, LLC.
What the Certificate Means
A certificate of completion documents that the named student completed and passed the identified course. It is not an OSHA certification, approval, license, or endorsement. See Credential Transparency for the full explanation.
Validity Periods

OSHA does not set a fixed renewal interval for this type of training; these validity periods are recommended refresher intervals, not a federal mandate. Retraining is also required whenever job duties change, a new hazard is introduced, or a performance evaluation indicates it's needed.
Requesting Verification
Employers, contractors, and compliance teams can verify a certificate directly through HAZWOPER OSHA Training's certificate verification form.
Lost or Reissued Certificates
If you've lost access to your certificate, contact HAZWOPER OSHA Training support at 1-866-429-6742 or info@hazwoper-osha.com with your name and course details. Expedited reissue or mailing services, where offered, are non-refundable once fulfilled - see our Refund Policy.
